Yury Kogan

Yury received his Bachelors of Architecture degree from California College of the Arts. His interests include coexistent symbiotic relationships with neighboring ecosystems that stimulate human awareness and empathy, memorial and spiritual design and rapid prototyping techniques and their relation to the traditional ornament.

Yury worked as specialist in facades and waterproofing for municipal facilities, multi-family residential properties, and institutional facilities before starting his own design practice. s.

Sona Jalili

Sona has a Master's degree in architecture and is experienced in detailed technical drawing, building materials, and construction technology.

Sona has worked as a site project manager for complex industrial, residential and mixed-use projects. 

She has years of experience designing major projects in international companies ranging from industrial, mixed used, and Residential.

Senior Designer

Mahsa Vanaki

Mahsa Vanaki received her Masters of Architecture degree from the California College of the Arts. She participates intimately in the design process of high‐end single-family residential, multifamily housing projects, hotels, and restaurants and commercial interiors.

Mahsa was a key team member with various Bay Area firms, such as Fougeron Architecture and Leddy Maytum Stacy Architects. Her design research leads to teaching a course on digital crafting in architecture at USF and various gallery installations, including installations at SXSW, AISSF, a display wall for the “Eater” trade show in Los Angeles, and the “Temporary Interactive Façade” in Berkeley.

Shaum Mehra, Architect

Shaum is a licensed architect, educator, and licensed general building contractor, who was born and raised in the Bay Area. Shaum has been an active designer and builder in the region since the mid-1990s. He has a deep affinity for the techniques and details involved in the building process and is at home wandering the job site making sure everything is going according to plan.
 
Shaum spent many years working for his father's architecture firm in Southern California, followed by years running his own practice, on a wide variety of project types - public schools, hospitals, military bases, and plenty of residential housing. Shaum is currently a faculty studio instructor in the undergraduate Architecture Department at the Academy of Art University, as well as an architectural licensing instructor for the AIA San Francisco chapter.

Project Manager

Vladimir Kogan

Vladimir is a native of Russia, where he received Master's degrees in both Architecture and Urban Planning. Since coming to the U.S., he has been an active designer, as well as participating in all phases of the building construction trades. He is adept at navigating the job site, as well as the intricacies of the permitting process. Vladimir has also worked closely with a variety of residential developers through the Bay Area.

Kiran Mehra

Kiran Mehra is a licensed California architect with over 40 years of experience designing projects throughout California. He started his career designing small projects around the Bay Area, then working for several firms on the Monterey Bay. He founded his own practice, Kiran Mehra Architect, in 1984, at which time he began to expand into the design of public schools and hospitals, eventually landing several large contracts with the U.S. Navy.

Designer/Project Manager

Kayvan Salmasi

Kayvan is a designer and builder from Tehran, Iran. He has extensive experience in multi-family residential projects both in Iran and Vancouver, Canada. Kayvan has served as construction manager for several mid-scale residential projects. He is highly detailed oriented and his keen eye ensures projects are built as intended.
